Michael Kuchar
Founder and CEO
Hi, I'm Michael. I'm based in the Czech Republic and have traded forex since 2015 and cryptocurrencies since 2018. I specialize in intraday trading of G20 currencies, combining fundamental and technical analysis to find opportunities in the market.
Before founding TradingBeasts, I built two trading websites in Czech, my native language. Both built dedicated followings, but the growth of the TradingBeasts community led me to focus fully on this platform and reach a global audience.

Why I invest
Central banks have spent years expanding the money supply, and savers pay for it through inflation. Official EU inflation spiked above 11% in 2022, and in 2026 it has climbed back above the ECB's 2% target.
But official figures tell only part of the story. You've likely noticed how much more expensive everything has become compared to just a year ago. Financial experts like Andrew Craig argue that real inflation runs at double what central banks report. This means only one thing:

How I invest and trade
Long term holding
I focus on ETFs covering gold, bonds and stocks. My asset allocation falls between medium and high risk, with stocks making up the largest portion of my portfolio. I split my stock exposure geographically and by sector through FTSE Developed World and FTSE Emerging Markets ETFs. I skip FTSE All World due to its slightly higher costs.
I prefer accumulating ETFs for two reasons: compound growth and tax efficiency. In the Czech Republic, distributing ETFs trigger annual dividend taxes, while accumulating ETFs defer this tax burden.
Day trading
I focus on G20 currencies and highly volatile assets like XAU/USD and Bitcoin. The majors give me liquidity and low costs, while gold and Bitcoin deliver the price swings. Plus, no holding overnight.
