Spread betting at ATFX

ATFX supports on its trading platform financial spread betting. Because spread betting falls into a different tax category than CFDs, it has some special advantages. The two most important ones are that the profit made when spread betting is free of stamp duty and capital gains tax (in certain jurisdictions). Spread betting is at ATFX only for people from the UK and Ireland, the company does not open spread betting accounts to traders from any other country. Traders outside this area are redirected to CFD trading.

ATFX Webinars

The broker holds live webinars on almost every working day. Most of them are in English with a few exceptions of German and Spanish ones. Luckily, the webinars are for both beginner and advanced traders, so every trader type can find here something new to learn. There is no fee for attending the webinars and since anyone can register, it’s definitely an option to consider.

The conclusion of our ATFX review

ATFX is a solid and transparent broker with more than decent spreads. The company does not feature as many assets as Plus500 or Markets, but it still provides access to the most investors’ popular assets that are out there. We appreciate the modern design of the company and support of the MT4 platform. What we further like is that the UK and Ireland traders can spread bet on the platform with almost identical trading conditions to the ones that have CFD traders.

72% of retail CFD accounts lose money.
